2021 welcomed a virtual NTW, with online patient information webinars tackling ‘hot topics’ and areas of thrombosis where there is little information. From ‘HRT for women with a history of blood clots’ a collaboration with The Menopause Charity’, to ‘Understanding vaccine induced thrombosis and thrombocytopenia’ (VITT) and the popular ‘Getting the most from your VTE consultations’. Patients and healthcare professionals lead discussion, shared evidence and increased understanding.
Launched on 3rd May was the HCP ‘NTW21 virtual conference’. Over 1,850 healthcare and allied professionals registered for the accredited conference which ran throughout May, making it the most successful conferences for Thrombosis UK to date!
